Most people call me Kay; I'm a terrible stationery hoarder and I love a gritty TV drama, interiors and sneakers! I run my small business from my studio in Nottinghamshire around family life with two small kiddos and our border terrier Beau x

Accolades...

My designs have been featured in several internationally recognised wedding blogs including:

My work has also been published in print by:

I also work with a number of regular luxury clients including Sisley Paris, Selfridges and Cartier, creating branding and stationery for marketing and PR events.

You should definitely take a look at my blog if you're in need of some help on the stationery front, and also to see some dreamy inspiration from some of the best suppliers in the industry!

Career so far...

After graduating with a degree in Linguistics with English Literature I spent several years in the corporate world, although I'd always been creative and hoped to be my own boss one day. Relocating from London to my home city of Nottingham in 2014 prompted me to take the plunge when I took a course in modern calligraphy with the aim to design my own wedding stationery and signage. My love of lettering began as a hobby but soon evolved into selling wedding stationery, cards and gifts online. I eventually gave up my full-time job in 2017 to work with couples, global brands, and a whole host of brilliant creatives on a wide range of weddings and events. These days I also teach workshops for crafty folks who like to try new things and work for several luxury brands on a regular basis throughout the year personalising gifts and products for clients and customers.

Favourite part of the job...

Definitely when my lovely clients get in touch time and time again with new projects they want my help with! I love working with new clients and bringing fresh ideas to life but the proof really is in the pudding when I hear from the same lovely folks wanting a bespoke gift or to commission my work for another event!

Tooling around after some cake calligraphy! Usually avoiding the camera...
